Our Eco-stove program trains villagers on the use of eco-stoves, the briquette making process and provides the materials needed to get started. The eco-stoves benefit both the villagers and the environment in the following ways:

-Reduce Drought-food pending insecurity

-Reduce deforestation

-Eliminate soil Erosion/mad-slides

-Less smoke inhalation for women and children

-Less fire related incidents and burns

-Reduce CO2 emissions/greenhouse gasses

-Reduce wood consumption

-More family time without having to cut down trees (up to 4hrs daily)

To date, our eco-stove program has been implemented in 6 villages in Salima, Malawi helping more than 130 families and saving countless trees from being cut down.
